"Four 'motley bandits' raised by weird wolves and home schooled by trees.

"Beaten Awake are socially challenged fakers in every way sincere. And 'the time' has come and gone and is here again. In this, I reference the band in the fantastic film 'Purple Rain', which did NOT influence anything except our manner of dress. We are old friends who met in a clearing called the Zephyr 'stage.' It was an accident really. We were drunk and desperate and bored. Time flies and we always notice far too late."
